Remote Operations Center

A control room that is just a browser

A remote operations centre used to mean procurement: workstations, installed software, a room. It now means opening tabs. That changes who can afford to have one.

What it is

One laptop or a video wall

Scale is a choice, not a rebuild

The same interface runs on a single laptop in a vehicle and across a wall of screens in a permanent facility. Start small without designing for small.
  • No workstation softwareBrowser-based throughout, so adding an operator position means adding a screen rather than a procurement cycle.
  • Multiple screensSpread the workspace across as many displays as the position needs, with each showing a different part of the operation.
  • Who needs oneDocked fleets, drone-first-responder programmes and multi-site security operations — anywhere the aircraft is not where the operator is.

Layout

Arrange it the way your operators think

Video feeds, any layout

Arrange live feeds freely for the situational picture this operation needs, rather than a fixed grid someone else chose.

All-device telemetry

One screen showing the state of every aircraft at once — the view that answers "is anything wrong anywhere".

Per-operator setup

Different roles watch different things; the layout follows the position rather than being imposed on it.

Workflow

Notification design decides whether it works at 3 a.m.

A control room that alerts on everything trains its operators to ignore alerts.

Tasks

Work assigned and tracked inside the operations interface, so handover does not depend on what the last shift remembered to say.

Notification levels

Graded severity with sound where it is warranted, so the events that need a human get one and the rest do not compete.

Escalation

Defined paths for what happens when something is not acknowledged — written down rather than assumed.

In development

An assistant for the operations room

We are building an assistant that knows your fleet: which aircraft are ready, what happened on last night's flights, why a battery warned, whether a pilot is current. You ask in plain language and get an answer with the records behind it.

It drafts missions, checklists and reports for an operator to approve. It does not fly the aircraft: anything that moves one goes through the same approval as a person's request would.

Plan your operations centre

From a single laptop to a staffed facility — we will help you scope what your operation actually needs.
